Splithand Sugarbush

It was a six hour drive through birch forests & over bridged rivers. Getting Up North is always a journey, but one you take gladly. You love the city where you live, but you’ve come up to Splithand Sugarbush every year for as long as you can remember. The smell of burning maple wood & boiling maple sap in a misty spring morning draws you up. 

This year you bring friends, & up the drive you share stories. Everyone’s got a story from Up North. Whether it’s a long fishing weekend with family, a morning campsite with dew covered grass, or roasting hotdogs over maple coals. 

This is a storytelling ritual game. During play you’ll be cooking syrup. You probably don’t have a bunch of maple sap you can boil (it takes 40 gallons of sap to make one gallon of syrup), but we can make simple syrup with water & sugar. We might even flavor our syrup along the way
