An alchemical rpg about journey, parts of a whole, and self-discovery.

The World Has Broken And You Remain, But Only Just.

You walk, wounded, on the sands that dune over the old cities. Sands made from worn buildings, skyscrapers with their windows returned to the grains from which their glass was once pressed. Sands made from the dust of bone worn down as cemeteries filled, then overfilled, then washed their tombstones into nothing. Sands made from salt and sulphur and pouring like quicksilver over everything the dunes touch.

The sand is here to take the world, but with your last steps you walk over the sand. You are an alchemist, once young and now forever so.

As the sands toss up great metal wreckages and hold host to sick roots, you alone walk. You walk and you know that the world is finally taking you with the rest of the dead. You hold wounds physical and spiritual, and with your final breaths you mix your last tincture, prepare your last calcination, and imbue a stone with your spirit.
